Flemish Flavours - Leura

When you discover the entrance of this restaurant, you take a walk down a garden lane leading to what can only be described as a hidden gem. Upon arriving, we were greeted by Simone whose warm hospitality could only be matched by the fireplace located in the dining hall. Simone gave us a verbal tour of the fine Flemish tap beers on premises which were exceptional. The food was comforting with rustic flavours, plus a touch of modern plating. The entree of roo carpaccio and chicken liver parfait demonstrated all the hallmarks of great European food. We really enjoyed the generous serving of mussels which were divine to share on a cold Spring day in Leura. The Belgium Waffles (which was the obvious choice given the restaurant's theme) along with the molten Chocolate Soufflé were enjoyable but could do with a touch of refinement. The ambience was wonderful and the service was attentive throughout our dining experience. If you're driving through the Blue Mountains and haven't made plans on where to eat out, this is one place you should stop by.

Fabulous food in a charming old home. So surprised by the standard and quality of the food and service. The food was not only delicious but beautifully presented fresh and innovative. We felt like we had a truly great dining experience which rarely happens these days. Good wine list reasonably priced.

Wow! The food was exquisite and the service was fantastic! And of course the beer is perfect – I've been a huge Belgian beer fan for many years, their menu is quite extensive.

We celebrated Christmas in July with a large group of friends yesterday . They where so amazing and accommodating The food was delicious and the service was on point . I would definitely be coming back

The food was exceptional and beautifully presented, the service was fantastic and though fancy, made us feel very much at ease with their friendliness and professionalism.
