Pura - Leukerbad

Always a good address in the season. The courteous staff tries to provide a table and the service is quick and friendly. Sometimes something is forgotten, but if you talk to the staff in a friendly manner, every problem will be solved. The staff speaks many languages fluently, so everyone can order something! We'll definitely come back. The food certainly doesn't deserve 19.5 Gault et Millau points or a Michelin star, but it is solid for ski resort conditions.

The service staff seem totally stressed and overwhelmed, even though they are trying. When I was served a 20% fried chicken on the hot stone and the stone was already cold without frying the chicken until it was edible, the waiter said that the guests would cut the meat in half themselves to finish frying it. I don 't know what kind of job the cook has. When I asked for open sparkling wine, the waiter said I should order something from the menu, but there was no open sparkling wine. So after the discussion I was allowed to have a glass of Prosecco.

Once the meal was finished, we waited 25 minutes before having the plates cleared, we then took almost 20 minutes before being able to order dessert… staff not very efficient! However, very good warm atmosphere.

Exzellentes Restaurant, super feines Essen und sehr freundliche Bedingungen. Das beste Restaurant im Leukerbad wir kommen immer wieder gern!

Das Essen in der Walliserkanne ist sehr gut und die Portionen recht gross. Das Ambiente ist einladend und heimelig.Der Service war sehr zuvorkemmend und aufmerksam. Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis ist top.
