Glenveagh Tearooms - Letterkenny

It never ceases to amaze me how busy this tea shop is even on wet days. Perhaps in order to escape the rain, visitors to the Castle come here. I would bet it is for the freshly made home bakes. While we normally don't have any problems parking is a big one. The park is so popular thousands come here. We were lucky we parked in Gartan and walked over the beautiful hills. Our reward was the Tea and coffee accompanied by nice home bakes scones. They serve full lunches here too, but we always aim to get in and out of the park before it gets too busy. The staff are friendly and approachable regarding allergens.

The tea room is very homey and the food is excellent. It's prepared on site and is very fresh. The cakes are baked in the castle kitchen.

Had lunch in the tearooms. It is very well laid out for socially distancing and hand sanitizing station is set up with a one-way ordering system. The food itself was delicious came in a take away box. The sweet treats were divine! I recommend the lemon meringue! The staff were all very helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the national park.

This tea room has met the covid challenge and producing some good food as well , a small court yard provides limited seating

Had a snack lunch here. Clean and friendly staff. Food fine. Could have spent more time over our lunch but were restricted time wise by our booked tour of the Castle. Tearoom seemed very popular.
