Contribuiți la feedbackWe don't love mussels but had the best dish of possibly our whole trip eating mussels in a coconut and chili broth here. All of our dinners were delicious.
Nice, quiet location, very dog friendly (they can stay in the room with you), warm welcome, attentive staff and the food...absolutely amazing! Marc his team do their best to ensure you’re happy and comfortable and it works, we’re now coming to the end of our 4th stay with two very happy doggies
This restaurant serves superb food. Lots of fish and all local produce. The wine list is also extensive. It is five star food.
All produce are local and mainly organic, very well prepared, served with courtesy and knowledge in an elegant and traditionally Irish dining room.
A night at this hotel dinner was planned a a treat during our tour of Ireland. Hotel breakfast were great (reviewed separately), but I am amazed at the consistently good reviews for dinner must be my fault! Menu read much better than the reality. Smoked duck salad with Popcorn? Who adds popcorn to a duck salad? Especially as it was that Butterkist candied stuff you buy in bags at cinemas. Did nothing at all to enhance the dish just weird. Rack of lamb good, but pork dish awful; overcooked, salty dried up. Menu said pork this was gammon and needed a lot more soaking before cooking. Atrocious veggies. At $60 for 3 courses, you need to do better than boiled to death mushy broccoli soft, tasteless cubes of carrot/swede (could have been anything). So many delicious, interesting veggies out there! We cut our losses at 2 courses saved ourselves $40! The charming staff did offer me an alternative to my inedible pork , which I refused as my husband had nearly finished his main. Reception did reduce our bill by €50 which was appreciated, but what I really wanted was a really good dinner...
