After eating literally hundreds of subways around the world, this is my first subway cafe. I really don't understand what that means except it has two padded low chairs between all standard fast food tables and chairs. If this is Subways... trying to win laptop-supporting millennials, I think that marketing plan requires a little more refinement. Otherwise it's just a subway and the food is quite normal. The one strong distraction was that for some reason the oven roasted chicken (or soychicken) was so pale, and looked damped instead of grilled that it was tasteless. The sandwich artist has probably also set a world record for the smallest amounts of fixes, so it was essentially a piece of bread with a piece of poached chicken mystery meat. There are too much better subways in town.
The hotel is located in a gas station and has a shared bathroom. That's bad. Food and service are notch. If you want a little more vegetables, they invite them. The freshness suggests any prefabricated sub you would buy at a service...
My wife and I stopped for a quak sandwich to go and thought we would try the new Spicy chicken and with Jalapeno cheese sandwich. It took a few minutes to get it because they were made fresh and was very good. I'll get it to everyone. The only problem is as soon as they become popular, they are probably cut off to the size of the chicken patty and the price. They did the same with the breakfast sausage. You can no longer get savory sauce or salsa on them. Finally, they must cut back to increse the bottom line
You can't go wrong with Subway! You know exactly what you will get no matter what city you are in! My only wish is that subway would offer a gluten free bread alternative...........
