Edo Japan - Lethbridge

Today we had lunch in Edo Japan. Signs are at the door, which basically say that masks must be served, and yet people could come and order without ever being asked to be on a mask. The review of vaccines was... Spotty, and the galle that checked our passports could possibly not read a name and was not interested in ID at all. Too bad that these places do not realize that they drive away their loyal customers, who take care of others and the rules we face.

We wanted something fast and substantially and naturally delicious. This Japanese restaurant was sufficient in these areas, but not excellent. The restaurant itself was clean and the staff was friendly. Bento Box is always my choice. Could have provided more ginger and wasabi.

I ordered two beef tariyaki dishes to go and paid $1 or $2 per dish for extra mushrooms. When I came back to my hotel and started eating, I was very annoying to see that I might have 3 extra mushrooms per dish. I had the same amount of mushrooms that have a normal dish. So the store is extra for a product and not the delivery simply wrong. The service was fine, the restaurant was clean.

Never disappointed. Eat here often. Usually the Bento box. The teriyaki chicken stir fry, tempura shrimp, and sushi are delicious. The salmon option is also great.

The staff are very friendly and the bathrooms are clean. Food is always good. Parking is easy and it’s close to the airport for a quick bite before you head to a meeting.
