Contribuiți la feedbackI purchased some bread and a few other items. The bread was just okay and a bit stale. Since it was Sunday morning, they probably don't bake fresh bread that day. It really should have been labeled as day-old.
There were only two loaves of bread on display and no menu available. I'm not sure who operates this establishment, but it definitely needs a manager with a focus on customer service, as that's essential for generating local revenue.
The experience was quite underwhelming. It didn't feel like anything was made fresh that day. The cookies lacked flavor, and we also tried the sourdough bread, focaccia bread, and a jar of apple butter. I hope those items are an improvement over the cookies and sticky bun.
We try to stop every time we pass thru Leslie for their pastries and focaccia. So we know their breads are awesome. But this time we opted for the pastries. We purchased an eclair and a fruit (strawberry) Danish. The total was 9 dollars. The pastries were disgusting. Cold and hard. Tasted so old we threw most of it in the trash. I don't know when they were made but I'm highly disappointed in the purchase and wasted my money. Skip the pastries and just stick with the breads I guess.
Serenity Farm Bread was one of those places you pass by and have to turn around to go see. We are very glad we turned around and went back! Artisan breads, homemade deserts and unique chocolates; this place is a gem!
