La Baratte - Leschaux

It is always a pleasure to go to the Baratte: a warm place, in a small village of the Bauges, a very friendly welcome, a traditional and typical Savoyarde cuisine, you have the choice and all this with a good value for money.

A great family moment! I enjoyed myself from the beginning to the end of the meal, a service to the top and a friendly little chalet atmosphere. It's worth it!

This establishment is a small wonder! For very good prices, your taste buds (re)discover the best products of the mountain. We were seduced by the map and its many proposals revisited in savoyard mode. I strongly recommend the aperitif to plants that will make you travel your palate in the pastures. Obviously, we cracked for a fondue at the cep... which was worth more than the detour. How many mushrooms! And what a magical taste! The carcuterie accompaniment did not leave us indifferent either and we did not regret this small supplement of 3€. A little chartreuse as a Norman hole? Sure! We recommend it. For dessert, a white lady with an altitude mushroom. A treat, even if I would have preferred a little more ice and a little less meringue, but it is according to tastes. As far as the atmosphere is concerned, you will not be disappointed because you will certainly, like us, have this peaceful feeling of welcoming the altitude chalets. For the service, we had the chance to meet beautiful people who will brighten up your visit: a super young man, coming, dynamic, effective and his mother as radiant! If we could have put 6 stars out of 5, we would have done it!
