Les Temps de Royon - Les Salles

We went towards dordogne and after covid restrictions were lifted to find only an open restaurant, was a performance in itself! So when we stumbled on les temps de royon, we were filled with expectations, finally wonderful French regional...Meal the escaping area with its quite unpleasant table and chairs should have raised a question about what is to be expected. the meal we had lived until my worst expectations unfortunately. this place is exactly as described by others, it is like cooking at home without special attention. warm beer and failed selfish service. I had prayed de veau with sauce-gibiche for 14.90 euro. I'll eat almost everything, but try how I could beat this court! I hang a photo of what I left because it is a warning to others that are very sure they choose well because I have failed wrong!

We thought here on our travels through france as a break. a good sign was that the restaurant was visited by locals. the restaurant is essentially not a fuss, but more beautiful place. the staff is very friendly and efficient and eating is fresh. and delicious. it is always nice when the cook comes and greets them and asks if everything was good.

We stopped here by chance during a long journey and found this beautiful radiance very relaxing and peaceful. this is an attractive aubergine in a beautiful environment with views over a small lake and beautiful garden. the service was excellent. we had both. a single main course of filet of fish (bar,) which was very fresh and was cooked for perfection served with a delicious potato gratin and ink noodles and an salad. our experience was infinitely preferred for the ghastly almost food on the next auto airroutee, which was hot and crowded. we were so glad that we decided on a small way to this beautiful place, where we had a table in the shadow and a very beautiful view.

What a pearl that is. excellent delicious and fresh ingredients with a warm welcome from the owners. I prefer small menus, because everything is made to order. vaut le détour!

Great food and a good choice on the menu, everything was delicious and beautifully presented. Nice welcoming atmosphere and idyllic setting but just 5 minutes from the Autoroute. Would highly recommend.
