Restaurant le Chene Vert

We ignored the reviews, but we should not have. The service was fast, that is the plus, also they have a beautiful terrace. on the bottom, we ordered the trout that was ok, on the side some gratin and 3 leaves of salad not very good...seasoned and I found a hair on the plate. The waitress cleaned my plate with a napkin. At the end of our meal I asked for a discount because of the hair on the plate and they agreed to offer me the drink, but say that there was not really a hair on my plate I did not recommend it.

It all started with the fact that we wanted to feel the atmosphere of a real French café, daily kitchen. Now I remember and most funny, typical American tourists came with a minimum of French words, the waiters warmly welcomed us, made us... at a table and gave us a menu. We asked about something from national cuisine, refused to help us choose, we somehow chosen, it turned out to be ordinary steaks and pommes with salad. Dessert is also the most common, boring portion and simple taste. Cleanliness is 3 points here twice asked to replace the glass and the dirty dishes were not taken when they brought dessert. The impressions were unpleasant. Or is this the true atmosphere of France?

We found the staff very unfriendly. They weren't helpful at all. Would avoid this place..

It all starts on page one of the menu. No less then one full A4 is needed tot explain the rules of the restaurant. From hoe to deal with your children to how tot approach the staff. The staff is not interessed or friendly at...all. They just dont seem to care. Expressing this feelings to the person in charge resulted in beinged ranted at and roasted in agressive french.

Salade de chèvre chaud 15 €, qq morceaux de tomates, 2 croutons au chèvre, 2 minuscules morceaux de jambon cru de la salade insipide sans assaisonnement si ce n est des traits de vinaigre balsamique. Salade de poulet pané de quand? on se le demande bien!!!! Mou à souhait servi avec qq rondelles de champignons noircis, de la salade tj sans assaisonnement.Quand au menu du lac.... un faux filet soit disant grillé mais poêlé et plein d'huile servi avec qq frites surgelées et qq frites de patates douces.Nous avons demandé de la moutarde on nous a rapporté un flacon vide..... bref question service ce n'est pas le top...Sans parler des carafes d'eau qui auraient grandement besoin d'être lavée, idem pour les sets de table!!!!!
