Contribuiți la feedbackWe had two nice lunches here, the waiters were very friendly and the food was incredible!! I strongly recommend the Dessert du Jour: we had a chocolate fondrum and apple tarte tartin- both excellent.
They've resolved their game at this Swiss lunch break on the mountain. The food is great, the staff is universal friendly and Ms. R says they have the best loos in the Portes du Soleil (l’ Occitane hand cream! . For lunch you can sit on the sun terrace or inside (best to book and I would recommend the Croutes aux Champignons. Amazing. The desserts are pretty good. The best thing is that this is not a bankrupt stopover. Lunch is usually CHF 25-30 incl. Drinks.
From all restaurants in Portes de Soleil, this was the one we chose for our last lunch on the slopes before the home trip. We had eaten there and were thrilled. It was good this year too. Maybe the portions were a little smaller... come on guys, chips don't cost anything so stack them up) and the service was slow that we waited so long to order a coffee and at the end gave up) but the food was still great. Pricey, yes! But not more than anywhere else. Amazing location and fantastic views. The smartest look at the slopes and Fab interiors. The best access is the tow lift and the slopes to the right and the slopes to the right. For good skiers. If you are a beginner, it is a bit of a push from the slopes below the restaurant. Although!!!
This restaurant is hidden on the mountain side and an amazing find. Beautiful decor with the kitchen in full view and great Loos. Many local dishes on the menu and excellent quality food. Service was really friendly and efficient. Definitely plan a return trip.
Not as good as on previous visits, this is a pretty piste-side stop that should be worthy of 5*s but the food choice this year was rather dull. What punters want is a great plat du jour that is not curry and rice: other restaurants...seem able to do this. I hope Les Marmottes returns to old form soon
