Contribuiți la feedbackThis place is confusingly called 'Le 7eme Ciel ' as well as 'Les Rochers Blanche '. No idea what is going on there, but.... Great location at the top of the Masse 1 gondola lift. I have been past this place hundreds of times, but never bothered to go in, until today. As this restaurant is nestled into the side of La Masse, you enter at the same level as the lift station and walk down stairs into the restaurant. The decor is very 'old school ', but nicely done. The welcome was very warm and the food was served quickly and efficiently (and was an immense portion). Take a look at the photo of the plat du jour......Hanger steak in red wine and shallot sauce with fires and a salad, that plus a small beer for EUR20. A well cooked and delicious bargain! I will be returning.....
My wife I have visited Les Roches Blanches at the mid station on La Masse for lunch several times this season and always come away impressed by the food and service which improved considerably when it was taken over by new proprietors four seasons ago. The restaurant is no longer self service but the prices are the same. There's a good range of freshly prepared pizzas from 8.90 euros, a favourite of the ladies is the small salades but actually quite big from 5.90 euros, and there's a plat de jour at 12.90 euros. For those with a big appetite there is a deal at 17.90 euros which includes the plat de jour, plus either a starter or dessert, plus a drink. There's a whole range of other things too. The dining room or huge sunny terrace on a warm day has one of the finest outlooks of any in the Trois Vallees. For intermediates and better skiers, Les Menuires' best skiing is to be found on La Masse, and, unlike the old days, it's now possible to enjoy a good lunch there too. When we pop over from La Tania to ski La Masse we wouldn't go anywhere else.

This restaurant is one of the best places for lunch in the 3 valleys. The food is delicious and very reasonable priced. The location, halfway down La Masse, is perfect. To add to this, the staff are always friendly and kind. On a nice day, the seats outside are fabulous. On colder days, the indoor dining room is spacious and cheerful, with large windows overlooking the mountains.
