Best food in Lixouri, amazing and innovative dishes, that stay true to the Greek local cuisine with an artistic twist! Must visit (they are open from late Spring till end of September, so I would suggest to visit this place for food if you heading to the nearby beaches (like the red-sanded beach of Xi). Grandiose. Both in terms of food and service. Traditional Greek (and Mediterranean) food with a modern twist with special flavor combinations. Highly recommended: anchovies (specially prepared starter), moussaka (you won't get better), sea bass (you won't get more refined), hare and finally the dessert with mouse, filo pastry and pistachio ice cream (bizarrely delicious). Actually way too good for the price you pay. Perhaps the best restaurant in Kefalonia. Absolutely recommended!
