I had considered joining the Breton Bay Golf and Country Club, lured by the attractive amenities and the community it boasts. However, upon further review of their membership pricing, I was taken aback by what appears to be an unfair pricing strategy that targets the 36 to 64 age group with higher fees.Understandably, pricing can be tiered to accommodate various life stages. However, the significant price hike for individuals between the ages of 36 to 64 in comparison to other age brackets seems arbitrary and difficult to justify. It's especially noteworthy when considering that the membership benefits across the age groups remain the same.I reached out to the club management to discuss my concerns, hoping that they would show interest in at least understanding, if not addressing, this issue. Unfortunately, my concerns were met with indifference, and there seemed to be no interest in considering a revision of the policy.Having done some research, I found that other local clubs offer equal if not superior quality services, well-maintained golf courses, and appealing amenities at much more equitable rates. One of these clubs is even county-managed, implying a level of public accountability and fairness in their pricing.In light of this, I have decided not to proceed with my membership application at Breton Bay Golf and Country Club. I hope they reconsider their pricing strategy in the future to better align with the broader market and respect the financial capabilities of all potential members, regardless of age.

The staff are very welcoming, helpful and friendly. The course is in fantastic condition. The greens are quick but consistent and the rough will make things tricky if you stray too far from the fairway! A very fair and good test of golf for all handicaps.

First time playing on this course. For the middle of July the Greens and fairways were nice and well maintained It was slightly long, but not too many hassert. Enjoy this new track and will be visiting again in the future.
