Sehr gutes Essen, vor allem die Forelle kann ich empfehlen. nettes Ambiente, schöne Terasse - alles in allem ein Besuch wert.

Das Essen war sehr lecker. Der fünfte Stern resultiert aus dem wirklich freundlichen und zuvorkommenden Service. Gerne kommen wir wieder.

Thanks to another TA reviewer we tried this Gasthof down the road from our hotel. I had been a bit put off by its position on the edge of a camping site, and by the way it looked from the outside - it turned out, however, to offer us a lovely meal, and was, in fact, an agreeable place to dine - clean, tidy and comfortable. Service was efficient and polite. Good, solid Germanic fare was what we were looking for, and is what we got. My only negative comment would be that everything was very fatty - maybe this is par for the course in such a restaurant, but beware. Our Wiener Schnitzel and steak were both served with delicious pan-fried potato with diced onion and bacon. The steak also came with a good home-made mushroom sauce.Although there was a substantial menu of ice-cream desserts which looked enticing, we were too stuffed after our meals to manage anything else.Do give this a go; don’t just overlook it in favour of the Brewery & Gashof Rogg just steps away on the main road.
