Applebee's Grill - Lenexa

We went the night before thanksgiving, 6:30PM. Hardly anyone was there and it took forever for the TWO servers to seat us. They offered the bottomless buffalo wings, which ultimately we got in spite of our waiter (can't remember his name) making it a complicated choice in my distracted state. We went to Applebee's on 95th street in Lenexa for Veteran's Day evening. There was Noone at the door to greet people. They weren't even busy! After we got a table it took more than ten minutes for the waitress to take our drink order. It took another twenty minutes for her to take our food order. The food was really good. They seemed short staffed, but the food was really good. It was worth the wait.

Went on Veteran’s Day at 5p.m. We were 4th in the list to be seated. 45 minutes later we left. There were numerous open tables and the hostess was randomly seating people very slowly. People were not getting served. This restaurant was being managed terribly. We will never return.

I ate here a few times over the years and it always seems to struggle. Service was really slow this visit. Assuming it's just under staffed like everywhere else. Food was good but not anything to write home about.
