Cafeteria Sao Benedito - Lençóis

We tried any times to visit this coffee shop but it was always closed during the day, which is a shame.

It's a must ... perfect cup of coffee and dessert served with charm and elegance in a nicely decorated shop. The coffee is grown in the region making this stop all the more special. I read some of the reveals and went for the apple pie with ice cream .. loved it. My son had the chocolate milkshake, also very good.

The place was busy so it took some minutes for we to be taken care of. But the experience was good. Nice staff and good coffee.

We visited this cafe looking for a light meal - it was still open at about 10pm and the food was freshly prepared for us and it was delicious!Our Portuguese was dreadful but the owner did her best to help us. We would recommend for a nice chilled eve - not sure how good the coffee is but it looked great!

This was a joyous finding in Lençóis. All places offer coffee, but it is usually of low quality. Cafeteria São Benedito is different. It offers a great coffee (I had the expresso) and the desserts are delicious. I had two desserts (in two different days) made of cupuaçu (a local fruit) and both were great. The decoration is great with three different areas: tables in front of the restaurant, the main hall very well decorated and a very pleasant patio. Great place to have coffee and dessert!
