Lalo's - Lemon Hill

I recommended this place to my brother and yesterday the barbacoa was bad and the consomme not to mention for 2 pounds of barbacoa and 2 consomé I paid $80 dollars and the price they have on their page is $15 per pound and $3 per consomme

This has been my favorite Mexican restaurant for years! Everything is good! Worth the inconvenient parking. Picadillo fried quesadilla and chile relleno are my favorites.

We came in at around 5:45 ish on a Friday and it wasn’t busy. It’s a seat yourself sort of place. We had the most lovely time and was helped by an absolute joy of a waitress. She was so kind and friendly. We ordered a pound of barbacoa and pancita, it was so tender and the flavor was out of this world. I would definitely recommend to everyone!

I work in the neighborhood and this is the go-to place. The Chicken California Burrito is incredible, I get it 2 to 3 times a week during peak season and it never gets old. The ladies in the back are super nice and are always accommodating. I love Lalo’s!!!!
