Smithfield 's Chicken 'n -b-q - Leland

I've enjoyed pulled pork and fried chicken at several Smithfield locations and have consistently been pleased with the flavor, though I find it to be a bit pricey. Usually, ordering is quick, but delivery tends to take a while. The only downside during this visit was that they were out of lemon juice packets (or lemon slices) for my tea.

Absolutely fantastic BBQ, just like always! The service is quick, and the staff are really friendly.

In my opinion, this is the best BBQ on the East Coast. It's a must-try if you're in the area!

I visited this restaurant for the first time and tried the chicken tank sandwich. It was good, but I expected it to have mayo, salad, and tomatoes, as it turned out to be quite plain. Maybe this simplicity is a regional preference. On my second visit, I ordered a chicken sandwich again, and it came with no toppings at all. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. The restaurant is quite large and very clean!

Are you feeling unwell? It pains me to say this, but this franchise does an excellent job of serving authentic barbecue from Southeast North Carolina. The pork is tangy and vinegar-based, with a lovely smoky flavor, and you can find generously carved pieces of pork mixed throughout. You'd think you were eating the real deal. Don't miss out on the BBQ chicken and hushpuppies—they're definitely worth a try. This place truly fills the gap perfectly!
