The food is average and the portions are not very big. It is also a bit expensive for what you get. Just average

I recently had a post-Christmas meal at the hotel and I must say, both the service and atmosphere were impeccable. The staff were wonderful and truly added to the experience. The food was exceptional and also offered great value.

The day after a wedding is typically a time for comforting food, but this restaurant offers something special. Ronan, who was also at the wedding the day before, recommended the restaurant to everyone. The Leek and Potato soup was exceptional and satisfying. While the steak at the wedding was outstanding, the Pork Belly stole the show. The classic apple pie had a unique twist with a zing of cinnamon. This restaurant is not only a great choice for wedding venues, but also for any other occasion.

Have eaten here a lot over the last few years and the food is of exceptional quality, delicious steaks, fish is exquisite as are the desserts. A very talented chef, by all accounts. I have never been disappointed here.

We had a wonderful evening on Saturday, November 1st at this restaurant. The meal exceeded our expectations, the staff were attentive, friendly, and helpful. They respected my opinion on the seating arrangement and the final layout was perfect for our party of 25. I cannot recommend this venue enough. We always enjoy celebrating family occasions at Leixlip House Hotel and can't wait for our next visit.
