Contribuiți la feedbackThe food and service at this restaurant are outstanding. I dined here in December 2019 and returned for another visit. I only wish I had discovered it earlier! I am eagerly anticipating its reopening post-Covid.
Himalayan is likely the best Indian restaurant I have dined at, and definitely one of the best in Ireland. Could you please consider offering takeout options? Takeout services are currently open in Longford and permitted to operate. With everything feeling doom and gloom at the moment, I believe that good food could really lift our spirits.
Had not been there for about 18 months..... OMG I’m so glad we went back. Dinner last night was amazing, the fusion of herbs and spices amazing ..... the waiter also very very personable and welcoming us back... definitely definitely have to agree it’s the best India’s in Ireland. Food freshly cooked and all piping hot...... all I can say is just try the place you will NOT be disappointed.
I visited here on a busy Monday evening with three family members, we were seen to immediately and the waiter took drink orders and brought complimentary poppadoms and chutneys which were very good. We then had our main courses which were absolutely amazing. I had a chicken tikka masala and it was lovely, the garlic nan was hot and very garlicky. I enjoyed it so much that I ordered a takeaway for my mum, mum's friend and myself last night, we had a set meal for two plus an additional korma and rice, the lamb balti was good. The korma and tikka masala were once again lovely. They forgot to bring our starters but after a quick call they were swiftly delivered with many apologies, they were hot, fresh and absolutely worth waiting for. The next time I visit mum I will definitely be treating her to a meal in the restaurant. Thank you for fabulous authentic Indian food!
Nice ambience here and food was piping hot. Our prawn puri starters were very salty and not the best quality ingredients. One dish the chicken tikka maslsa was pale and over flavoured with coconut and definitely not a masala more a passanda. The guy serving was very polite and helpful and on balance we would go back and give it one more try. The wine is great value. The naan was light and fluffy
