Atlas Food Drinks - Leiria

If you crave for something delicious but don’t know what to get, I am sure you can find a dish to calm that urge at Atlas. We had a full vegetarian meal, including Shakshuka, the Israeli salad and the labneh with toasted pita bs roasted garlic, delish!!! The service was great, thank you Hugo.

I was here a few times for lunch and once in the evening. It's a very charming, colourful place with cool and friendly staff. Lunch comes in the form of a small menu at a bargain price. It was creatively done and well made every time. In the evening, it gets more cozy and you get some good drinks. We were there on a Tuesday evening if I remember correctly, and it was nicely busy. I would go there any time again.

Atlas is a big, old but restored building right in the historical center of the city. It's the best choice for travelers because you can literally walk to everywhere. Yes, forget about buses and cabs. In the first floor you have 4 spaces with tables, chairs and sofas. In the biggest one you have the bar/restaurant. The decoration is everything: the old and the new mixed perfectly and warm light really makes you feel at home. They have a really great menu with choices from all over the world. And also the best cocktails in town. And the big surprise is that you can have a complete menu from 6/8 € and cocktails from 3,5 € to 5 €. They also have a very interesting cultural agenda: with exhibitions, workshops, concerts, talk, movies... a little bit of everything. In the second floor you have the rooms that, once again, are very cheap and cozy. And the cherry on top of the cake: a wonderful and quiet terrace only for the guest where they also have some special events once in a while. So, nowadays, as a guest or as a client, it's impossible to visit Leiria without being in Atlas. Oh, I almost forgot: the staff! They are incredibly kind. They can give you the best tips about what to do the city: not only about the regular, touristic and boring ones... but also about the unknown and alternative ones. And depending on how long you will stay there, you will probably make friends for life. Trust me: you will never forget the experience!

More than the awesome place and super cozy decoration is the best staff and the best meals! Highly recommend it!!
