The Yamato is a very small but cosy restaurant, settled in the Westin Hotel in central Leipzig. You can have an all sushi meal if you like to but the heart of the restaurant is the Teppanyaki. The sushi are all handmade and prepared on order. All soy sauces are home-brewed. Teppanyaki menus are creative and offer a perfect combination of sushi, tempura and of course teppanyaki. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We enjoyed a perfect Sunday evening at Yamato.

Für besondere Abende mit eigener Köchin auf der sich direkt am Tisch befindenden Grillplatte. Wir hatten ein Menu aus Fisch und Fleisch gewählt, wobei das Fleisch ein ganz besonders zartes Kobe-Art-Fleisch ist und in allen Gängen Köstlichkeiten serviert bekommen. Der Restaurantleiter erklärt die Gänge und Zutaten mit Historie und der gesamte Service ist erstklassig. Selbstverständlich ist es ein kostenintensiveres Restaurant, aber damit rechnet man auch. Wir hatten einen wunderbaren, rundum zufriedenen Abend. Gerne wieder!
