Tonis - Leipzig

It 's not cheap but very good. They have a large variety of vegan ice cream (and not only sorbets but "milk "like kinds with macademia nut as well)

When I went to TONIS on Thomaskirchhof, they had 5 different and quite extraordinary vegan flavors on offer. I went for Soy Latte and Schokokos because I'm not too much of a sorbet fan and creamy vegan options can be hard to find. I loved the taste and texture and was very happy about the huge scoops, too (which are a bit more expensive than at other ice cream places).

I had the Vegan waffle for €8,50. There is also a ball of ice and lots of fruit and compote. The whole looks very artistic and therefore justifies the high price. Everything tasted good. I was there on Sunday and they had exactly 2 vegan ice creams. The sign of the third supposedly vegan was changed to my note that honey is not vegan. The service at the counter was friendly, but the service was slow. The waitress pushed a stupid spell because I ordered my waffle for me and not for me and my acquaintance (who had already eaten his ice cream).

The mango ice cream is absolutely amazing. I just couldn't get enough! Nice large scoops, vegan waffle cones, and fun vegan options to try (including baked goods). Definitely going back again and again.

Not the usual 'sorbets ' of always the same flavours but nice ones, see photographs. Excellent matcha chai. Vegan cones. Good mood, too! Cookies cake of excellent quality. Nicely located on backside of famous Thomas-Kirche (a church) straight at tram stop 'Thomaskirche ' in the middle of town. Huge scoops.
