Il Capriccio - Leichlingen (Rheinland)

Excellent, always fresh, healthy mediteranes food (OHNE flavor enhancers or other chemistry!!! I'm very good. Pleasant, stylish ambience (tables are always very tastefully covered, stylish music and very friendly service. I often eat salad with turkey meat or also fish dishes. Very delicious also the fresh mini rolls with the garlic butter. Well suited location for groups up to approx. 12 people always go there very much.

The food is always very good, the service is friendly. Some portions are small, so you need to order a salad. Map could be more dynamic. And the lighting is unfortunately much too dark, it is exhausting and if you sit with the face to the window front, you will be blinded. Nevertheless, I give 4 stars, as the excellent Italian food simply convinces. I always like to be there.

Italian cuisine, pizza and pasta. Tablecloths, nice decoration. Not for the first time I was here for food and the quality is consistently good here. In the weekend you should book. The service is prombt and polite. It will be asked if everything fits. Warm little rolls and herbal butter are served at the appetizers. Current daily dishes can be found on a slate board on the wall. As an appetizer, this time I had the Carpaccio Chef-Art. Chef Art is called here: with red onions, capers, roasted pine nuts and was excellent. The freshly grated Parmesan was not saved. Main course we had pizza Capriziosa and tortelloni with ricotta and spinach filling. The pizza was okay, the tortelloni was very good. All hot and fresh on the table. A degistif was then handed to us at the expense of the house. Conclusion: No exclusive restaurant, but good and solid.

As in Italy... When I go to a brewhouse, I go to a brewhouse, there I have German tradition as it should be. And when I come to you, I eat like in Italy, it should be! See you soon!

Family Saieva runs a small, very family restaurant in the Gartenstrasse. As usual in Italy, part of the family life takes place in the restaurant. Some people could do that. There is always a day ticket on board where the fresh fish dishes can be found. We always like to go there.
