The Taramind Indian - Leicester

This is the worst Indian food I have ever tasted. I ordered a paneer curry, which is usually a safe choice, but there were only 8 small pieces of paneer drowned in sauce, which tasted sour. I also ordered a chili paneer starter, which only had 4 pieces of paneer and no flavor, just whole chilies served with it.

We usually don't do takeout because we prefer dining in, but due to the current Coronavirus situation, we decided to try it out. I must say, the food was delicious. The chicken was tender and perfectly spiced, and everything was piping hot. We didn't even need to reheat it when we got home. It was wonderful.

We have been getting takeout from this restaurant for many years, and we have now started dining in because the service is excellent. The staff is welcoming, friendly, and always go above and beyond for their customers. We decided to eat at The Tamarind because we believe they are the best in the area. Their food is not overly salty, freshly cooked to order (unlike buffet-style restaurants that can be unhygienic), and reasonably priced. I saw a review mentioning that the restaurant needs a renovation, but I personally appreciate its traditional Indian restaurant aesthetic rather than following trends. Everyone has their own opinions, but I recommend trying it for yourself. We always enjoy our experience and will be back next Friday. Thank you, Tamarind!

Good food and pleasant service too. If you're looking for a nice curry at good price with not so over priced alcohol then you can't go wrong.
