The Dovecote - Leicester

I was pleased to see that the full menu was available on a Sunday, unlike many pubs that only serve a carvery. I ordered the 'Black and Blue Burger' while my friend opted for the chicken in Stilton sauce. Both dishes were well-presented, incredibly tasty, and arrived quickly! If I were to be picky, I would say my burger was slightly overcooked for my liking, but overall it was still very enjoyable. I definitely plan to return for dinner. The interior is stylish and cozy, and the large beer garden is an added bonus. Thank you for a great visit!

I've visited this pub twice recently, and the menu truly elevates the experience! Everything I've seen suggests that the chef puts in a lot of effort; every dish I've tasted has been delicious! The selection of drinks is fantastic, and the overall experience, including the staff, has been wonderful. I'm definitely planning to return, as there are even more meals I'd love to try.

Had a wonderful meal with great friends! The only issue was that the bottom of the dish was a bit cold, but they warmed it up for us, so it all worked out perfectly!

We ordered food for a takeaway collection. They have children's menu, and I was impressed with the choices available for vegetarians, food was packaged appropriately and still warm when we brought it home. They forget to give us sauces that were stated on the menu, but other than that we were happy with our food and service.
