Rajah - Leicester

I had another wonderful meal at this restaurant. The main dishes were excellent. I will definitely recommend this place to everyone. I have been ordering from them regularly. Thank you.

1st time find as new to area food was lovely full of taste each item different in own way , huge amounts of chicken ! Highly rate and free pomoadom onion pickle and a dip. Gave me a cold drink whilst waiting foc as well ! Happy days you have new customer

We ordered on Thursday 22nd October. I ordered tandoori mixed grill which should have had king prawns which were missing. The lamb was inedible was like jerky. We also ordered a Rajah special which also should have had prawns but didn’t. I call the restaurant and was told needed to speak to the manager who wasn’t there and he would call me back and that didn’t happen. Very very poor

Deliveroo said my order from Rajah was on its way but it took almost an hour to get here and honestly it wasnt worth the wait. There are far better places to get a takeaway in Leicester but i thought i'd try this as they were highly recommended on deliveroo. Big mistake. Wont be doing that again.

Do not order from Rajah! I was thoroughly disgusted by their service. If I could give zero stars, I would. We placed a £40 order at 16:50 for delivery at 18:30 through Just Eat. Despite receiving an email from Just Eat stating the delivery would be at 18:40, our food had not arrived by 19:00. When we called the restaurant, they claimed the driver was on the way but short-staffed. By 19:30, our food still hadn't arrived, and the restaurant offered a discount for our next order (which we will not be placing). Finally, at 19:50, over an hour late, the delivery driver arrived. I asked him to contact the restaurant as we were unhappy with the delay. Instead, he threatened not to give us the food unless we paid in full. Disgusted by their customer service, I recommend avoiding Rajah at all costs. We ended up ordering from Sunar Gow in Broughton Astley, who provided excellent service and had our food ready by 20:30. They have earned a very positive review from me. Avoid Rajah at all costs.
