Belmont Bar Restaurant - Leicester

This was the best afternoon tea experience all of us in our group have ever had, and we have been to many beautiful tea services. Thank you for accommodating our various dietary restrictions.

I took a friend who was staying at the hotel out to dinner, and was disappointed to find that only the bar menu was available, despite booking a table based on the full restaurant menu. Since it was a Friday night and we didn't want to venture out to find another place to eat, we settled for the bar menu. The food we had was average at best. Overall, I don't think I'll be rushing back to Belmont anytime soon.

We celebrated my friend's 50th birthday at this restaurant in the afternoon. The food was delicious. I must say that the waitress who attended to us was friendly, but I had to get up and ask for service myself. We were the only ones in the room, so it would have been nice to sit by the window with sunlight streaming in. I did mention this to the waitress at the end, and she said she had moved us, but we were unaware that we were the only patrons, so we didn't know we could request to be seated there. Just minor details. Nevertheless, we had a wonderful time.

Very relaxed meal; good and prompt and friendly service efficient too even with a busy wedding event on the go! food was of good quality with a nice rnage/choice on offer

Nice staff, food was ok but those prices are ridiculous!!! Doesn't seem to know what it wants to be style wish... ended up a really weird mix of everything menu certainly didn't match the setting. Ate as staying in the hotel but won't be back in afraid.
