Bella Italia Leicester Meridian

The meal was too expensive, and we had to wait an hour for it to arrive. The service was lacking, and our server was rude. I definitely won't be returning. We were seated at the entrance, and customers standing right next to our table made it uncomfortable.

This restaurant used to be fantastic, and the food was consistently excellent. However, the portion sizes for the starters are now very small. The pizza should be served either already sliced or at least presented on a wooden board with a pizza cutter; we found it nearly impossible to cut with a knife and fork. The caramel dessert tasted awful as well. It seems the quality has declined. This was our first visit after the shutdown, and we used to come here regularly, about once a month, either before or after going to the cinema. We left feeling very disappointed, especially since we were all so excited to return. I hope someone will read and take these reviews seriously.

From the moment we walked into the restaurant until the time we left, we felt well taken care of, as if we were the only guests there. The atmosphere was lively and bustling, but not overwhelmingly loud. We had a delightful evening and will definitely be back soon.

Great restaurant,food nice but my pudding was a little disappointing. Service from waiter were very good. I would have chose another table as the sun was shining my eyes.. I should have said something so that was my fault, but overall I would go again!

The starters we’re incredibly small and not at all value for money although quite tasty. The mains were a fair portion size but lacked seasoning The waitress Emma could not have been more helpful, excellent service!!!
