Almeida - Leicester

Amazing coffee. that is all they need to know about this place that they feed and make drinks many others, and they have a huge menu that I did not expect when I went. I only had the coffee from here and also bought some really nice cake to take home with me. the personal is friendly and knows what it does. I have seen some of the commentary to hear and I do not do justice to this place. if they want a good cup coffee that is not mainstream it is worth a visit, I had not expected much, but was very glad that I went for a drink here again when in the city.

My absolute favorite café in Leicester, which also features my favorite ice cream shop, is simply wonderful. I love the atmosphere and vibe here. The owners are lovely people who make you feel right at home. My go-to dishes include the fantastic sardines on toast (I like mine with tomatoes), and I often enjoy a roasted bagel paired with minestrone soup, which is a real favorite of mine. We can’t forget the hot chocolate and porridge on these chilly winter mornings! And of course, the coffee is excellent. It's a great independent café in the historic area of Leicester.
