I have tax exempt and they didn’t want to accept it until I said that Im diplomat and it was a federal document and should accept it.

NYAJ has always been one of my favorite places to eat. I have not been in a couple of years and I was disappointed. It’s no longer the thriving place it used to be to be. The service was lacking and no spirit of teamwork and every man for themselves. We were not checked on and the personality of our server was flat. We had to ask someone else for a refill and that seemed to be an inconvenience and that was because our server only robotically came to either take order, bring drink, bring food, bring check. The prices have inflated drastically and I am sure between the lack of service, spirit, and food hike…why I see an empty restaurant on a Saturday night. I rated higher than I should have.

We have been frequenting this restaurant since it first opened. The food quality is consistently excellent, and our server took the extra step to inquire about any food allergies we may have. However, I do believe that their prices for sangria and other drinks at the bar are a bit too high.

The staff, including a gentleman and two ladies, were very welcoming when we arrived. The manager personally greeted and seated my wife, two kids, and me, offering his full attention to any questions or concerns we had. Although I can't remember his name, he was a kind black man. The restaurant had a cool atmosphere with chill music playing and friendly waitstaff. I enjoyed their mojitos, particularly the watermelon mint flavor, which made me feel warm and satisfied. Overall, I liked this place and would definitely return in the future.

Wonderful service. The staff was very professional and friendly. They got our meals out quickly and correctly for a party of 18. We were all very impressed.
