Food was excellent. I had the 12 oz ribeye done medium. Was cooked perfectly. Even my daughter's steak, which was thinner and also cooked medium, was perfect. It was a little hard to hear others at the table because of all the chatter, but otherwise the atmosphere was pleasant.

Firebirds is my go-to spot to meet up with new and existing friends. The ambience is nice and it's always a good vibe. The food is above average, and the service is good. The happy hour is one of the best in the Woodbridge area. Love the Double Black Diamond martini and the Fired Up Shrimp.

So my food was okay, but coming here especially on a Saturday evening was a horrible experience. First I came by myself and was told it would be a 40 minute wait but because I was by myself they could only sit me in an area which took an hour. Then after they sat me down nobody would serve me I had to flag down a waiter just to get a glass of water. Then when it was time to pay nobody came to get my check I had to flag a person down again to do that. I felt very unappreciated and basically a night out for myself was horrible because it basically took me 3 hours just to eat. Very disappointed. And no discount was given for me waiting.

I had a delightful dining experience! The shrimp and grits were off-the-hook and the service was detail oriented. Firebirds is my favorite restaurant. Keep up the excellent work! Many thanks!
