Maverick Bicycles - Leesburg

Following a recommendation from Handy Bikes (which I highly endorse), I took my Coda to Maverick. Although they’re located in DC, which is a bit of a drive, it was worth it. Dawn quickly assessed the situation and confirmed that the brakes were beyond repair. She promptly installed a new set and even raised my handlebars with a new stem stack. I truly appreciate how this shop handled my problem. A warning for any bike technicians reading this: please don’t attempt hydraulic brake installations if you have limited experience. It only leads to customer frustration. By the way, I did return to the original shop to request a full refund.

The owners are fantastic, and the coffee is absolutely delicious! I will definitely be returning, and my daughter loved the hot chocolate—it had just the right amount of sweetness. Thank you for the lovely service. We can’t wait to come back!

The staff was incredibly helpful in assisting me to find a bike that suited my needs. When there wasn’t a floor model that fit me properly, they went above and beyond by assembling a new one right out of the box without me even asking. Since this is a non-commission store, I felt confident that the salespeople truly had my best interests at heart when offering their advice on purchasing decisions. It was evident that they genuinely care about helping customers find the right bike. I will definitely return when I’m ready to equip my bike with racks, fenders, and any other accessories I might need in the future. I highly recommend this place!

I stumbled upon this place by chance, and I'm really glad I did! I ordered a vanilla latte, and it was excellent! I had no idea there was a café inside this bike shop! There's a cozy little area to relax and enjoy your coffee. They also host parties that looked appealing. The barista/shop associate was super friendly and offered some great recommendations. I definitely recommend checking it out!

This is a lovely, welcoming place with just about every bicycle accessory you could need. I'm definitely coming back to get a thorough check-up on my rock hopper.
