Star Meze Grill - Leeds

This restaurant was not too far away from town and was certainly worth the visit! It is a small cozy place, well-decorated and really homely. Most importantly the food was just amazing. We tried several of the meze's and the Persian grill and all our dishes were fantastic. It is clear a lot of thought has been put into the menu and the ingredients were so well-balanced and tasty. They had very good vegetarian and vegan options on top of the juicy BBQ meat and we will certainly be back with our friends knowing everyone will be catered for. Our favourites were Kashke Baadedmjaan and Mirza mezes (aubergine dishes) with freshly baked naan/flat bread and the joojeh and chenjeh grill (BBQ chicken and sirloin lamb). Definitely worth a visit. A genuine hidden gem.
