Contribuiți la feedbackI chose Tavernaki as a nice spot to have lunch with my daughter and sister. When we arrived on a Sunday, the restaurant was empty. We started with some appetizers - haloumi, loukaniko sausage, and tzatziki, all of which were delicious. However, I found the portions to be quite small for the price. The souvlaki mains (chicken and pork) were tasty but a bit expensive, which I assume is just the norm for Leeds. We also enjoyed a bottle of rose at a reasonable price, and my daughter tried an Aphrodite’s kiss cocktail which was strong and a bit overpriced. Despite having a nice time, the restaurant was empty and seemed a bit overpriced. I think they could attract more customers with some specials or offers. The atmosphere might be better in the evening. Our bill came to quite a high total with the added service charge, which was a bit pricey for a lunch. Leeds has many great dining options, but not as many Greek restaurants, so it's worth a try if you're a fan of Greek cuisine.
We went out for dinner with our daughter here while visiting her at university. The quality of the food, service, and atmosphere was excellent.... but it was a little expensive.
The lamb was tender and flavorful, while the halloumi was perfectly seasoned with a nice salty touch. The crispy salad and tzatziki complemented the dishes well, and everything was devoured quickly. The fact that everything was cooked to order was a definite plus.
