Angelicas - Leeds

My two friends and I went to this restaurant on a Sunday afternoon for their bottomless brunch and had a fantastic experience. While the drink options were more limited compared to other brunch spots we've tried, choosing between prosecco or aperol and sticking with it worked well for us. The service, ambiance, food, and overall atmosphere far exceeded any other bottomless brunch place we've been to. The food was delicious, drinks were great, and the service was exceptional - our glasses were constantly refilled without us even having to ask. The staff were friendly and attentive. The restaurant itself had lovely decor with plenty of plants and glass everywhere for beautiful views. I would highly recommend this place for brunch in Leeds, it's a truly upscale option.

I usually prefer ale, but I went out for lunch and birthday drinks. It was a warm afternoon, so we ended up at Angelica without high expectations. Since we hadn't made a reservation and it was a busy afternoon, we were seated at the bar by Beth. During our friendly conversation, she found out it was my birthday. Halfway through our drinks, she found us to lead us to an outdoor table. It may not seem like a big deal, but her exceptional customer service made a significant impact on our afternoon. Of course, we had to order another round! Thank you, Beth.

My son booked us in for Father's Day. We all had the Sunday Lunch, there was plenty of the Hereford Beef. The only feedback would be more vegetables please and slightly thicker gravy. Very enjoyable though, and a very pleasant surprise to receive a free drink, thank you.

We celebrated two birthdays with a double treat at this restaurant. The staff welcomed us warmly and we opted for the set menu, which had enough options to please everyone's tastes. We appreciated the relaxed service without feeling rushed, and the timing between courses was just right for us. The food was enjoyed by all of us.

My friend and I called in for a drink around 6pm on Saturday. The staff weren’t very welcoming and said we would have to stand at the bar. I asked if we could sit outside and they said there might be room on the terrace but that we would get wet if it rained. We were shown to the terrace (I don’t know why we had to be escorted) to find plenty of spare seats! We ordered our drinks and after a long wait had to ask if they were on their way. The most welcoming person was the excellent young female DJ who gave me a big smile. It’s lovely on the terrace (some seat cushions would have made it more comfy) and it’s a shame we were made to feel like we shouldn’t really be there.
