Al-khaleej - Leeds

My vater decided to treat the family to roast the atn of lamb, huh and rice on the way to get the food I review on google and I remember that I told my father that this would be a very expensive...maybe! I even pointed out that similar foods could have been bought in our beloved bradford. I was wrong! it had to be one of the best meals I ever had in top 5. 3 days later I had left over lamb and rice with a huge smile on my face. it is great for the family to come together, we have paid £100 for everything, but it was worth every penny. I loved the Brat chicken it was to die and will be for it again. you have to try, thank me later, infact that you can buy me a roast chicken and put it behind the bar for me

They were here twice and both: great eating! no warning if that is authentic or not, but it is a good food. And it also does not taste anthong like an ordinary curry house, but somehow Arabic I think.

I've had Arabic food many times and this is probably rock bottom. Shish tawook is one of my favourite dishes and at £5 I was expecting a fair bit not 4 pieces of chicken and onions. The chicken was unbelievably hard and dry it was...laughable, tasted like it had been made two weeks ago and just microwaved. The knafeh was a con because although you get quite a bit, it tasted old again the cheese wasn't even white/yellow anymore, this is definitely my favourite Arabic dessert and this experience ruined it completely, Couldn't even finish any of my meal apart from the chips which quite frankly is embarrassing. Would not recommend at all.

AlKhaleej Leeds served absolutely brilliant food with typical Arabian/ Mid-Eastern flavours that was also very reasonably priced. The taste, flavour, presentation and portion sizes are all great. The dining area itself is very peculiar with a cosy friendly feel .... and very friendly service...as well. Very strongly recommended ALL STARS

Dipped to get a quick snack before the trip to the house. I ordered a chicken-shawarma to take away. very disappointed. when I started eating it two minutes after leaving the restaurant, it was cold. that was totally dirty. minimum amount of huh in a thick...bread type packaging probably three layers around. it didn't even eat a quarter of it. if I had had the time, I would have taken it back.
