Sayers Food - Leederville

Met a friend here for afternoon tea. She'd grabbed us a table inside thankfully ascot was horrible outside. Ordered at the counter amid a very tempting range of cakes and slices. We didn't partaobut will next visit!!! I'd had a big lunch and wanted nothing!! Great coffees and service! Love a bottle of water on the table - an really over adking for my glass to be topped up all the time!

Brekky at Sayers never disappoints. My only problem is deciding what to have, i love their beans with a poached egg and linseed toast or their amazing scrambled eggs with Italian sausage and spinach. The poached eggs are perfect and I am really fussy about my eggs. To top it off the coffee is perfect. Staff are great and the owner is lovely.

Such a cosy, quaint and extremely popular little cafe. And one can certainly see why. The atmosphere is lovely, the staff so friendly from the moment you walk in the door, the food absolutely amazing and the coffee simply superb. Unfortunately you cannot book however there are a number of seats inside and outside. Totally recommend you give this place a try sometime

Monday morning breakfast love the whole feel and vibe of this place. Busy all morning service was good but the food was better. Great value for money by far the best we have found yet. My good lady's eyes lit up when her breakfast arrived as did mine the scramble eggs with wilted spinach and chorizo was cooked perfectly and my wife's poached eggs, lemon scented spinach and potato rosti where to die for. Only down point is Duende coffee is better. But highly recommend. 9/10

The woman proprietor is quite blunt and lacks genuine mannor towards the customers, when ordering she will give you the feeling your an inconvenience to her day and rushes you through even when the cafe is not busy with a smug look on her face while commanding her staff around unnecessarily.I personally find this quite rude and it happens every time, I have been there probably many times and still there is never a moment where she may acnowledge your repeated service or ask you how your day is. Its obvious that customers are just money to her and anything else is a hindrance to her day. I would hate to be one of her employees as I dont even want to be her customer being treated that way. Otherwise the cafe has a lot going for it and I think she should leave the customer service up to a people friendly employee and come to terms with the fact that she just isnt friendly enough for frontline service. Also $8 for a 250ml juice is outrageous!!
