Lovely meal at this restaurant. The mixed starter for two was huge and delicious. I had gnocchi and salad which was so fresh and tasty, my husband had ravioli with cream and pistachios plus salad, which he raved about. Very friendly staff and good service. With a half bottle of wine and water came to €53 great value for what we had.

This little gem of a restaurant was recommended by our hotel; the large pizza was delicious with very fresh ingredients, I only wish I could have finished it. It is a must if you are in Lecce.

First, what made this restaurant enjoyable for us (as it may not be to everyone 's taste) — if you go inside (it was October), rather than sitting outside, you can avoid most of the other tourists and have a more 'Italian ' experience (locals, families etc). We just had a light meal (OK, some of the locals were eating pizza) but the pasta was really excellent, the wine was good, and the desserts (quality, not quantity were excellent).

Location with a somewhat retro style, the staff is friendly and welcoming. the dishes are genuine but of few pretenses
