Sabor Criollo La Casa Del Mofongo

We enjoyed a variety of excellent dishes at great prices! The empanadas, ribs, and rice were all superb! Food: 5/5

The service was great, and the roast pork was outstanding. However, the empanadas didn't live up to my expectations. The pizza empanada was just average, resembling a hot pocket. The beef was underseasoned, but my friends enjoyed the chicken. I did appreciate the delicious dipping sauce that accompanied the plantain chips. Overall, I would rate the food a 3 out of 5.

We were the area all the way from Connecticut wih Lacrosse tournaments, we wanted to see if any puertorrican food around us… us being Puertorrican ?? )Found this place on google, read reviews and was a little hesitant.. ?BUT figured i give it a try.. I ordered a Mofongo w pork carne frita) and a Mofongo w chicken chicharrón)drinks.. and mayo ketchup!LET ME SAY… it was DELICIOUS im picky… the food was Perfect ON POINT! Not cold, not salty, or without flavor, or greasy or anything.. Mofongoswere bery fresh moist, had the perfect condiments garlic not too much, the pork was fresh and soft not overcooked or dry the chicken- omg also moist and a little crispy! Not dry like in other places in NY ect..It was EVERYTHING!!! Too bad we live soo far… Glad we gave it a shot!! ???? Tried uploading pics but I didn’t see an option to do so…
