El Sombrero - Lebanon

I dined here with my family a few months ago and forgot to write a review. I ordered the taco salad, thinking it was a safe choice. I was wrong! The ground beef lacked any flavor and seemed watered down, probably to stretch the portion. It was absolutely unappetizing. The bottom of the shell was soaked and soggy, to the point that there was a puddle on the plate. It was topped with shredded lettuce, whole slices of tomato, sour cream, and just a tiny amount of cheese. I managed to take about five bites since I was hungry, but then I left the rest behind and opted for a sandwich at home. Another family member had a similar experience. I won't be wasting my money on this food again.

The food was fresh, reasonably priced, flavorful, and served hot at our table. There is a wide variety of options to choose from. The family-style atmosphere is pleasant, especially since I don't drink, and many restaurants often cater more to those who do. However, they do offer a drink menu for those interested. The service was attentive without being intrusive. Overall, we dined in and had a great experience.

Stopped on our way to Branson for a quick dinner. The staff was really nice but our first impression was not good as far as the food was concerned. The chips were nice and hot but tasted of old grease so we didn't eat many. The kids chicken meal wasn't much better because the chicken was way over cooked. My husband said his food was okay and although the portion was small mine tasted pretty good. Service: Dine in
