We were staying at the hotel for the Olympic Track Trials and decided to meet up with friends from my hometown for dinner. I ordered the chicken pasta, and it was fantastic—I could have licked my plate clean! My husband chose the shrimp cakes, and he thoroughly enjoyed them as well. The others in our group seemed pleased with their soup, salad, and burgers. We sat outside, and it was quite comfortable. Although they were supposed to close at 9 p.m., they didn’t mind when we lingered and chatted until after 10 p.m. It was really generous of them to let us enjoy our time catching up with friends we hadn't seen in a long time.

5 star ratings are something I do not give lightly. I have been in many restaurants in the Pacific North West. 1847 was, without a doubt, one of the best restaurant experiences I have ever had. Thank you to the staff. You made it very meaningful and memorable.

We really like this place. We were there recently for a birthday party and reminded how much we like the food and service here. Great drink options too.

My husband and I have gone here a handful of times. BUT we haven 't been in awhile. They were out of the filet mignon bummer but they had a special for ribeye. Which was only 2$ cheaper than the filet...we took a chance on it as they have always been delicious not matter what we 've had there. Unfortunately it was awful. I think they must have gotten a deal on these ribeyes and opted for those instead paying the money for the regular filets mignon. They were sooooo chewy. My husband couldn 't even cut them with the knife provided. We both had to spit out so much of it because it was not edible. I get better ribeye from target. I have no idea what we were served last night but this experience made us never want to go back. The staff and servers were awesome. The atmosphere was peaceful. But the 42$ ribeye special completely ruined this place for us. Not to mention today my stomach is a mess. I 'm sad that this place is serving low grade meat for high prices. Not going back, do not recommend.

We expected the usual not impressive but were very impressed with the servers eager help and the we circle it and they put it in a to go container so we could enjoy in our room. Food awesome as well. We will be back.
