Pizza Hut - League City

I know it's Pizza Hut, but if you're going to order from there, I suggest looking for another option. Our last three experiences have been disappointing. First, they used about half the usual amount of cheese, and we ended up paying $20 for mostly bread and sauce with very little topping. Second, the crust was undercooked in some areas, almost raw in places. And you know what's great? A delicious pizza crust. What isn't great is when the crust takes up half the pizza because they didn't stretch it out beyond the center.

The order arrived exactly when promised, so that was a plus. When I opened the pizza box, the pizza looked appealing at first glance. But when I took my first bite, all I could taste was blandness. I could hardly detect any marinara sauce on it at all. I took another bite, hoping for a different experience, but again, the flavor was lacking. Upon inspecting the pizza more closely, I noticed that there was barely any sauce—its color was so faint it was practically invisible. It’s no surprise I couldn’t taste any marinara sauce! I was disappointed, especially since Pizza Hut has been around long enough to know that the taste of the sauce is what makes a cheese pizza great! I remember taking my young children to a Pizza Hut in Wichita, KS, back in the late 1970s and early 1980s. We usually ordered a variety of pizzas, including a cheese pizza and an occasional supreme, and those pizzas were delicious! Unfortunately, the pizza I had last night from this particular Pizza Hut in League City, TX, was nowhere near what I remembered. I even worked at a Pizza Hut for a few months during the 1980s in Kansas, and I was taught to put enough sauce on the pizzas so the flavor was prominent. Not once did anyone complain about not being able to taste the marinara sauce back then. In summary, it’s sad to say that the mini cinnamon rolls tasted better than the pizza itself. I won’t be ordering from Pizza Hut again. I don’t even recall seeing an option in the app to request extra sauce, unlike other pizza places that offer that feature. Pizza Hut could certainly learn a thing or two from Papa John’s.

I ordered pasta w bread sticks and an order of cinnamon sticks. They were placed in the same box so the cinnamon sticker tasted like pasta sauce .
