Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

The service was good, although the waiter had a lot of tables to manage, which made things challenging for him. Nevertheless, he put in a lot of effort.

The restaurant offers wonderful country cooking, particularly at breakfast. There's a large fireplace that makes it cozy during chilly winter days. You'll easily spot a rocking chair or a checkerboard to enjoy while you're there. However, the prices in the store might be a bit on the high side.

According to a few employees, this couple and their dog are regulars at this Cracker Barrel, and for some reason, upper management has not addressed the issue with them. The staff I spoke with shared our concerns and mentioned that there have been numerous complaints, but nothing has changed. We have decided not to return to this Cracker Barrel until the owners of the dog are educated on the proper way to bring their pet into an eating establishment. A simple solution would be to close the stroller's cover and drape a blanket over it to fully enclose the dog.

So I really want to like this place. I really do. But..... The last few times I've eaten there with my family the service has been sub par. Took forever to get a drink order in, then had to seek out someone to refill drinks while we waited for at least 25 minutes for our food to get there. This was after being told that online checkin to be seated wasn't being honored and seeing someone waiting on the patio to be seated for more than 45 minutes on a 20 minute trip with. Just did a curbside order and it isn't any better. Sat in the curbside parking for 15 minutes then called in and got a very rude response from whomever answered the phone. Had to have the curbside person go back in for a missing drink. Pretty sure that's the last time I am going to try this location. Will most likely bite the bullet and drive to Pearland to see if the service is any better there.

I simply love this location! My father, who recently passed away, absolutely love going to this location. The staff is always very friendly and the shopping, love it! I got this great shirt there as well.
