Contribuiți la feedbackBeautifully restored zisterzienser abtei has an easyness to experience. the crossroad is particularly beautiful and you can imagine the time when the monks were there. everything in a rural environment. the visitor experience was upgraded with new landscape parking spaces...areas and stone paths. check the opening times on the line as the first time that we went it closed from 12 to 2.
The hotel restaurant is located directly on the main street, in a quiet residential area. the restaurant itself is bright and modern and with views of the pool. if you book in advance, ask for a table at the window. .the midday menu du marché is...available at 24.5€ for 3 courses (a 2 curs option is available). the service is excellent, efficient and friendly and the food excellent, well cooked and beautifully presented. it is difficult to mistake the restaurant.
I had read about this place and wanted to visit so when in the opposite very impressive architecture deep in the French landscape. warm personal, low entry fee and a very interesting history. if they are in the opposite, they should definitely pay a visit....We are glad that we did.
Just stayed a night. Comfortable bed , clean room, clean bathroom. Quiet little southern french village. Good service.
While we told there would be a limited selection on arrival the selection we had was excellent. On night one we enjoyed mi cuit foie gras, then house smoked fish parllida, Salad du Moment, Duck breast end croute with fruits and fresh mint pastilla, Mini...beef filet, mushrooms and roast spuds, warm chocolate fondant and white choc ice cream, fruits compote summer pudding. All were beautifully cooked, presented and eaten with relish. On night two we had gaspattio of melon, vegetable risotto with truffle oil, carpaccio of beef, Shad with rice and mushrooms and mini vegetables, Salmon covered in sesame seeds, Chevre, Cornet of coffee moose, Assiette des Iles These were also good though the sesame seeds rather overwhelmed the salmon. The service was efficient and done with good humour. I can commend the local rose wine.
