Chez Jo - Le Lavandou

Located next to the nudist beach, this serves as a bar and restaurant. We stayed early on the beach (before the Merkaten) and booked for 14.00. Had wonderful food. Gambas and Moules right in the far table next to the sea, which regularly... under the boards. Beautiful atmosphere, great service. A few beers and a glass of rosé, then back to the beach, sleeping naked in the shade.

This is about the freshness of the fish and the feu du bois. The restaurant is built on a wooden stage above the water on a beautiful beach. Many customers arrive by boat, a rowing boat comes to meet you and... throw to the beach. They are famous for their Bouillabaisse a Provençal specialty at 70 euros per head, at least 2 people. Lake Bass is the best value at around 30 euros. The beach is a popular nudist beach to not visit when you are against naked people!

We love the small hidden beach in Le Layet and we love Chez Jo the small fish restaurant on the water there. No fancy gourmet food, only excellent fish and seafood, and hearty atmosphere. I wish we could eat more often here.

Fabulous fish! Go here if you love fresh fish. Don’t be put off by the plastic tables and chairs and the naturist beach, the food will not disappoint! Beautiful setting next to the water, great atmosphere.

We came with a stroller and they blocked table for us. The food is amazing and fresh. Very generous and a place to go!! I clearly recommend this place for a nice moment and great food!
