Traditional Auvergnat-Tarife is served in. generian portions and quite expensive. service is very friendly and efficient. the locals told us that this is the best place to eat in the village.
This is a beautiful, simple bar and restaurant specializing in regional dishes of the auvergne. we went in winter when the menu was very limited, but it was nice to sit in the big window in the winter sun and to watch Sunday dinner over the small village square. our starter salade auvergnat was excellent fresh green salad mixed with chopped ham, Salers cheese and bleu Auvergne cheese. our main course was slightly seasoned calfscarf and mushroom dish with truffade; it was pretty good, though my callbsal was a little bit cracked and the truffade was not as good as some I had in cantal. the desert was an excellent homemade skyberry with enchanting crabs, thin pastries. total cost for two with coffee and pichet house wine was the personal was very friendly and we would go back in summer if they had a complete menu.
Building with undeniable charm. The dishes are based on good products but there are small problems with the cooking of the meat. Below other establishments recommended by Gault et Millau in this segment.
We had fun! days later, we came back with our friends! The kitchen is excellent! charcuterie, truffle or intercoaste, cheese plate and desserts, wahoo! the first time, the chocolate pie or pear pie and the next time the fresh cream cabbage or the blueberry pie! Everything is cooked by the boss! The boss's service is hot! a passionate couple that cares little about their customers!
Homemade meals excellent. Welcome to the top, kindness and friendliness. a recommendation for those who want authenticity.
