Contribuiți la feedbackIf you want the freshest fish, prepared by one of the best chefs on the island, you cannot do better than chef Leo's changarrito. Chef Leo's sauces and spices are always a complement to the fish. Great sides and a casual dinner experience right on the shore. Highly recommended!
The fish is freshly caught and brought in the morning. Simply the best grilled fish I ate. He asks how you would like the fish, or if you would like ceviche (also extremely good).Leo is amazing with his costumers, After coming there now a few times he knows your face and is just lovely! A shame we are leaving to the next island.
Leo made us an incredible boquinete, grilled with a little bit of garlic - it was one of the best fish we've ever tasted. It came with tortillas, salad, rice, homemade crisps, chips + dip, all for just 220 pesos (£9). More than enough for two people. Leo is really friendly too. Go if you get the chance.
This is an unassuming little place on the beach, but don't be fooled. Leo is a magician with fish, which on Holbox is fresh every day. We usually just go with whatever Leo recommends. His grilled fish is always delicious. Great food, very reasonable prices. Don't miss it.
We stopped by and talked with Leo about his possibilities for dinner. He showed us the fish and octopus that he had and said maybe the fishermen will bring lobster soon. We chose a grouper big enough for the both of us and returned in a few hours. He was so friendly and efficient! We learned that we could walk 50 meters to a store and buy some drinks and bring them back. There were no tables empty then but we could relax in beach chairs while our fish cooked, as it got near time to eat he asked a group that was long done eating to give us their table, which they were glad to do. They seemed to be locals and it was all very comfortable. We shared our table with another man ready to eat. He had the seafood soup and absolutely loved it. Our grouper really was delicious, so tender and cooked on the grill with garlic! Fresh guacamole, salad and homemade potato chips came with it. They had run out of rice because they were so busy but they gave us extra guac and chips for free. The whole thing cost just 300 pesos (15 dollars). Unbelievable! Don't miss this opportunity to eat right on the beach with Leo masterfully preparing the freshest seafood!
