Babalu Yei Yei - Lazaro Cardenas

I'm pretty skeptical to eat pizza in Mexico, had many disappointments, but Babalu Yei Yei makes excellent pizza. The pizza in a wood-fired oven is hot picked, the pizza in a thin-powdered style has exactly the right cheese and the blows to be delicious. We ate twice.

We were sent here from our hotel. Pizza was fine, not great. We had much better in Roots a few nights later. I wish we skipped this place.

The pizza was above average, but we did not go for the food, we went for the atmosphere and the staff were very nice and we had a few beers after the pizza, which was very pleasant.

Ate dinner here one night on the recommendation of a local resident. Yummy pizza and full bar. They also accept credit cards.
